Kerper's 10 Mode rapid Fire Hex Code Free!
« on: July 22, 2010, 10:03:17 PM »
Hi, I have recently created a 10 mode rapid fire .hex and have tried it out.  It works perfectly and is a Sleeper mode (meaning you do not need any extra buttons and will not need to drill holes in your beautiful controller.) I'd like to begin by saying I am not responsible for any damage you inflict on your controller.  All Credit for this Code should go to Me (Kerper.) Thank you. So let's get started!

You will Need:
PIC12F683
PIC programmer that supports 12F683 PIC's
A PIC programming Software-(I use PICkit 2)PICkit 2 download
Xbox 360 Controller
Soldering Iron (preferably a 15watt, anything higher can and will damage your controller.)
rosin core solder
3x 300ohm resistors (depending on which controller you have the number of resistors will vary from 1 for a CG controller and 3 for a Matrix controller.)
about 2 feet of 30awg wire (wrapping wire)a
wire strippers
Torx 8 screwdriver with security bit or the right sized flat head (not sure what size I apologize)
Okay now that you know what you need we can get started!

Step 1.
First you will download the .Hex File.
Cl!ck H3r3
If you know how to program a PIC then skip step 2.

Step 2.
Next you will need to program the PIC12F683 with the Hex code you just downloaded.
To do this you must have a PIC programmer, put the PIC into the programmer and insert the programmer into your computer.  Run PICkit 2 and in the top left corner click File-
Import hex, select the hex file wherever you saved it
after the hex has been verified and fully completed click the Write icon.
The hex code is now written onto the PIC12F683 and is ready to be installed.

Step 3.
now you'll need to determine which type of controller you have for example CG or Matrix.

Step 4.
Now all you need to do is take apart your controller and solder the chip into the right spots, here are the wiring diagrams for each controller.

The mod has been tested on a Matrix controller but I have yet to try it on a CG controller because I do not have any atm.  I just thought this would be good for everyone to have a free rapid fire code for themselves I hope people do not turn around and try to make money off of this code but I'm sure it will happen.  Happy Modding!!

How to Use
To switch Modes you just click the sync button (do not have to hold it at all)
The third player LED will flash the number of times of which mode number you are in.  Sorry I don't really know how to word that lol.

Modes! :yess:
Mode 1: Akimbo-20 shots a second on each trigger
Mode 2: Akimbo-30 shots a second on each trigger.
Mode 3: Right trigger-15 shots a second.
Mode 4: Right trigger-20 shots a second.
Mode 5: Right trigger-25 shots a second.
Mode 6: Right trigger-30 shots a second.
Mode 7: Right trigger-35 shots a second.
Mode 8: Right trigger-40 shots a second.
Mode 9: Right trigger-43 shots a second.
Mode10: Right trigger-45 shots a second.

Thank you and I hope to be sharing more Rapid Fire Codes with everyone soon enough depending on how everyone likes this one.  Hope you like it!

All Credit for this Code should go to Me (Kerper.)

All credit goes to you? You sure this isn't Hazers burnmeup code modified with WAY to many modes?

at least give him credit for using his diagrams.

I would give him credit but he really has nothing to do with this. even the diagrams I got from Marduke.info so I'll give credit to him.  Nothing here has anything to do with hazer.  I made the code myself and programmed it. Mode 6 works good with MW2 and Mode 2 works perfect for akimbo on MW2.  I honestly would give credit to anyone else that helped or I used their diagrams but I promise you those diagrams are from a different website I don't know if Hazer created the diagrams or what but if he did then Thanks!:D

Haven't tested it out on GOW2..
Mode 2 akimbo is perfect for MW2 and Mode 6 I believe is really quick for MW2 also for single right trigger firing.

you surely are a bit defensive. for the record, I have not looked at the code, but the picturs are RDC's scans, and the overly (the wiring diagram) was done by hazer to support his RF code.

and realy ten modes? come on!! is that really needed? blah

I guess a "good work " is in order for writing your own code though.

hmmm ur code sounds all good but i wont be testing it till i return to the uk.....

my main concerns are your speeds..... there all a bit fast most games wont fire over 15sps so wahts the point in going as high as you have....

such as gow2 they capped it about 10sps....
cod 5 without the patchbuster coding hazer wrote will only fire at 7-8sps with the patchbuster its will fire at about 10-11 sps before being capped

halo is about 11sps max.....
so 45sps whats the point.... good work on the code but it'll be alot better if you lower your speeds say the lowest at bout 7sps n the highest at 20 maybe 25 at a push.......
