fixing a ds lit efor a friend

i have a friend with this ds he wants me to fix for him. he has a super mario edition red nds lite. the problem is that the game slot is broken, when you put a game in it doesint click and stay in it just pops back up. has anyone else had this problem and could you tell me how i could i fix this please :beg: ? thanks,          -Sam

replace it with the above or (if possible) fix the spring or clean it or move it or watever

well i think from seeing my friend rip a slot apart, there is a small section that is separated from the rest of the metal on top except for a small bit on one end, see it its lifted out of its groove, pushing that back down might be it for fixing it.
My systems:  -PSP 2001, CFW and PSP 3000 shell.  -PSP 1001, LED mods, custom firmware, speaker mods, sound reactive LEDs.  -Black NDSL, LED mod, 0.5x and 2x speed mod.
