Remarry Blueray drive without downgrade

Hey,

This is a new post that I found in psx scene which states that it is now possible to remarry bluray drives without a downgrade or from de-soldering any chips. ( have not personally tried this but will in the near future). so as always, use at your own risk I hope this is helpful for lots of people.

this will only work with fw 3.55 and recovery console is needed to use it.

Do we still have to worry about drive compatibility with this method? Nice find btw. I need this. My dead 80 laser is going into my soon to be unbricked 20. Someone tried to update the 20 w a bad blueray drive = instant brick. Just received my e3 kit,  so this helps a lot.
