« on: October 15, 2010, 06:43:37 AM »
Recently my router has started to disconnect my desktop pc which is connected via lan. Any computer connected to lan experiences this problem but my laptop is always connected via wlan and never disconnects. Running both at the same time the net is always working on the laptop
modem is wrt34g netgeat

I had problems with my router similar to this.  it was a linksys, but not the same model. It kept disconnecting wifi every 10-15 minutes. I cracked it open after 3 hours of uptime while trying to download linux and found the chips inside to be overheating.  My solution was to get a new router (obviously not a linksys) and now my network works perfectly. I guess you could also try putting a fan in it and trying that too.
