Yesterday I successfully reflowed my YLOD PS3, I know it's just a temp fix & I need a reball but it was my first ever attempt at reflowing, so PLEASE don't burst my bubble LOL. Since my PS3 has been sitting here for like almost 2 years my PS3 is very much exploitable because it is all the way down at 3.30 firmware. I'm not sure what to do next because a long time ago I bought a original jailbreak from ebay but I'm not sure if it's real or fake & I'm not sure if the jailbreak method is even still used as a way to mod the PS3. I also have a 16gb usb drive that I can use to CFW it but should I chance updating all the way to 3.55? If anyone knows what method I should use can you please help or let me know what you would do if you were in my position. Also I know that to add games I need a internal or external hard drive, so I chose the internal hard drive route. I know that the hard drive must be a 2.5" Sata drive with a 5400 RPM but I heard that the most the PS3 will recognize as an internal is 640gb & I wasn't sure if it were true or not.
