What do you guys think of the Kinect update for the dashboard?

I personally haven't been home yet to download/check it out, but I've googled around a bit and it seems pretty sweet.

I hate it, why must M$ try to fix something that was not broke? I mean the espn3 add is great, and the netflix/zune updates are good, but why mess with the menu? these new sounds when you move the curser, and that bright ass white is rediculous. I have a 55" LED tv. dont know if you have seen LED tv's much, but the whites are extreamly bright.

I spend alot of time on the dashboard, but this bright white menu is nuts. this must be corrected.

I Like it, just a fresh coat of paint, i dont use Zune or netflix so can't comment on it but i like what i have seen

Still waiting on UPS to get mt Xbox back to me (hopefully replaced, one I sent got E74, 1 ring and 3 rings in the space of about ten minutes), but all the friends I've spoken to have said they like the update. I'll post again once I get a chance to use the dashboard (hopefully later today)

i guess its just the LED tv, but that bright ass whit box that pops up everytime I hit the guide button kills me, it lights up the whole room, no more sneaking a game in while the wife is sleeping.

i agree with matt the white is blinding and it doesnt go with the tactical premium theme i use. it does seem a lil faster going in and out of guide and through menus. the lil "magical ferry" sounds when u move menus is annoying. they should've left well enough alone imo

reminds me of teh wii. i feel this is for teh casual players and family. i hate all this bs from all teh consoles

to fix or possibly ease the super bright whiteness, go to console settings, display, refrence levels, and select EXPERT. It should put a darker tint on it which should help or ease the pain of your eyes
