VERY CAREFULLY! LOL! or you could use a conductive glue. but i hear they can be messy. although ive never tried...

Interesting :) Just did mine yesterday. If you are going to bridge it, I would just heat it up and remove it first, then you are left with two solder pads which are much easier to solder together than the fuse. The pads are also much lower on the board the the fuse is when it's attatched, which gives you a bit more room. Good Luck!
