From what it looks like (to me), your copy of windows is corrupt. Have you tried getting into BIOS before it starts, or booting from CD/USB?

Well I plugged the hd into another computer and it was corrupted. So I replaced my hdd with another hdd that had a new copy if windows on it. Iv tryed booting from a cd like for a windows install and it would just get stuck at loading screens. I booted a copy of ubuntu off of a USB flash drive and it took 2 hours to boo but it did successfully boot it just ran realy :censored:ty and froze up alot.

If you put the hdd back in you should be able to run recovery tools from Ubuntu or other Linux.

format and reinstall. no need to remove the hdd from the laptop at this point. pop in a windows install disc.

It's simple, it's a gateway laptop :P Nah but in all reality just format and re-install like the others said. The chance of getting your data back if you haven't already is slim.

Ok so iv passed this around to a bunch places and the highest cause of this is an issue with ram. I'm probubly going to run I think it was called memory dionostic or somthing like that. It boots off a disk and runs for a couple hours and check for faulty ram. And if none of this :censored: works I'm going just going to send it into gateway I might have a couple more months of warranty on it

I don't think it's RAM. Turn the computer on, press F8 to bring up the Windows boot options (before it boots into Windows) and go to "Disable automatic restart on system failure" and hit enter. When it blue screens again, take a picture of it and post it here. Without that we can't determine the exact cause.
