psp slim backlight fuse

hey guys
i have a problem with my psp slim.
the mobo of the psp felt down WITHOUT the screen.
and now the backlight doesnt work anymore :confused:
but the screen still works in my other psp.
so does anybody know where the "backlight fuse" is?

here you go mate. Just bridge (solder over) the fuse and it should work. hope you fix it.

i just have to solder the 2 contacts of the fuse together right?
DO I HAVE TO SOLDER BOTH FUSES?

no, just solder the two points of the backlight fuse and it should work. Hope you get it working

Hey guys. I have a similar problem. When I turn the psp, the backlight turns on but no picture comes on. Could this be the same problem? I already switched screens and still no picture.

make sure the LCD connector is in all the way and if that doesnt work search for a thread called "screen fades when DPad is pressed" that might fix it

I've lost a component next to backlight fuse, is that a resistence o capacitor?? here is the pic. thanks a lot.
