well the akimbo and regular were closer to the video than the jitter. the jitter still seems way off. it gets off the first 3 shots than everytime it swithces it gets off 1 shot and swithces weapons again.

I fitted this RF to a controller yesterday and tried it out with the settings Famas posted earlier... I'd say with my controller it works, as near as I can tell, identically to how it does in the vid  :dntknw:

This is the first time I've tried out a 'jitter mod'. I have to agree with others who've said it, that for me it's more of a 'LOL at that!', novelty mod than anything else.

Huge thanks to Robbo for developing (and sharing!) the code, also to Famas for his involvement  :hifive:

Post Merge: January 19, 2011, 05:13:05 AM
I can confirm, for me, your settings of 8.6/ 8.7 for the FAL work the best.. I use 8.7 for the FAL with FLEX rf too, iirc the shot cap for the FAL is at 9sps. I did run FLEX at 8.9 for a while but would still get the occasional lock up, so I knocked it back a couple as I'd far rather have reliability than the extra .2sps  :yess:

Btw have you guys seen this gun stats chart?

thought i would add this diagram that i just used/made for the CG2 controllers
as the details were not all in the same place !!
it includes the opto coupler, and all the points are on the top which made it much easier to install test etc ..
you can use either side LED of course, and either side trigger for the power/earth for opto :)

hope it helps some1 :)

Also added the matrix diagram that i made/used too as people dont seem to be able to search or find my other posts about it !

gadget thanks for posting that but just out of curiosity where is the y solder point for the matrix? The cg2 is under the dpad is the matrix on the back of the board?

do you not understand the diagram i posted for the matrix ? it has both the locations for the Y contact !!
as on the matrix you have to join the two labeled points together (you cannot give the contact(s) a + or a -, they need to be joined, which is why you need a seperate device/componant to do this for you..  hence the extra componant in the diagram !

so thats why its ALOT easyier to use/install jitter mods on CG/CG2 controllers
(i only did it on this matrix, one for the challenge, and two its what i had about, so cost was low :)

hello yes it will work for cg and cg2 but the cg2 y trace will be different to the one in the picture and you dont weld you solder just to be clear if the wire is kynar 30 awg it should be stripped and pushed in the hole that would work fine

can you not see the diagrams in my last post they are the CG2 ones lecrack65  !
(Famas maybe confused you by saying what he said ? as the diagram/pic in the first post is for CG, and the one in my post is the one for CG2 (and cannot just poke it into the via on the CG2 as they are filled up)

the diagrams i posted has everything you need for the CG2 ! thats why i posted them !
the opto points, and the Y point !!
and if you are asking how to solder onto the Y  point then you should not be attempting it in my opinion !!
(but yes just scrape the protective paint off to see the copper and solder to that its simple common sense)

they cg2 was going long before the slim 360 as i have 1 from a year or so ago you will need a transistor for the chip to shut off ive not looked at the pictures but i think you can use n2222 but im not 100 percent and with the opto coupler its just a diode so no need to program it and for the chip you need to program the 12f683 the chip used originally but as for the other chip no i dont think so good luck will look for pics

if you want to install it on a cg, follow the diagram in the first post, you dont need anything extra.

if you want to install it on a cg2, you will need an optocoupler. the controller with the new dpad has a cg2 board.

if you want to install it on a matrix, you will need that MC74HC4053A thing, which is apparently out of a dvd player, idk anything bout it

the best rapid fire code in my opinion is flex.

well i think this code is the best just because i used it on black ops and it was fine flex is "what you see is what you get" great code but in my opinion  hard to learn how to use this code is the only code that will fire the g11 in blackops fully auto if you want it for dual akimbo will do that also and standard rapid fire if you want a break down mate here it is

durability 9/10 (its fully adjustable)
ease of use 9/10 (flex is about a 3 as it took me about a day to figuire out how to use it)
ease of install 9/10 (flex you have to drill a hole but on the other hand no resistors or diodes so hazer i really respect you for doing that mate

so a break down if you want to keep it simple on the soldering etc
use either this code burn me up witch will need editing to work on black ops or crazy modders six mode code please dont hesitate to contact me if any problems arise as im here to help and i no how hard the  barrier is between people telling you things you dont quite understand the meaning of so any problems just post in this thread  or a pm

without jitter its probably CrazyModder's six mode
or with jitter its this one

crazy's is not customizable but its very good I've used it myself, it uses the sync button but I couldn't compare it with this as they both fulfil different purposes.
