NEED HELP WITH RAPID FIRE 4 XBOX 360 CONTROLLER! (NO MOD CHIP)

I recently have gotten intersting in modding controllers for both xbox and ps3. and i reallly need help with this specific mod.
Does the rapid fire mod with no chip were you get a button and 2 wires and connect it to the led 1 and middle pin on the right still work for only old wireless matrix controllers, or does it work for CG too now?

it just works for matrix but no real point now as theres no way to control thr frequency/ shots per second so id really suggest looking at the tutorials on here about 555 timer rapid fire and 12f683 rapid fire any help needed hit me up im here to help dude
