Size of fans (for Intake)

Well, im thinking of getting to computer fans from radioshack and installing them on the sides of the 360 to help improve the air intake of the console. I was wondering what size I should get. Also, would i be able to screw them into the holes on the sides of the metal casing?

40mm fans work great, and i dont see why you couldnt mount then or screw them on the metal part of the case that is how I mounted my leds is in the metal part of the case, just make sure that you have them blowing the right way, so that it draws air in to the case and not out, or you will defeat the purpose of the factory fans.

The factory rear fans draw air out, so place the fans in such a way to where air is getting drawn in across the heatsink while being drawn out by the factory fan.

The issues I ran into personally is the thickness of the outside of the fan, you want to get one as thin as possible,  I believe I fit a 60mm fan on mine but due to getting one that didnt have as thin as walls as I wanted I had to mount it outside, so keep that in mind as well, try and go for the slightly higher end ones with an outer mounting diameter not much bugger then the fan itself.
