What would I use to control the fan speed of the stock fan.
the box I have has the 12v mod done on it but it makes the fan very loud.
is there a potentiometer that I can use to manually control this mod?

Yes you could use a potentiometer to control the voltage the fan gets (aka the speed).  Just make sure you get a potentiometer that can handle 12v at least and whatever the amperage rating the fans can pull since I believe the 12v lines can pull up to 5amps, someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Yea I understand what you mean hyper, but if we didnt , we wouldnt find other things to pass on and share. I have been on other sites thats how I found acidmods , and this is far the best for finding information, because all of us, have been searching and searching for the right answers and some how they all end up here .

Which makes Acidmods a great site to be a part of!
