So what does this mean for cfw psn in the future? Sounds like Sony is really trying to step their game up.

they separated the online part of the company from the rest of sony's main company. this is generally a step to protect the larger company and its share holders from being sued for actions f the smaller company.

in my opinion, here comes the online fee

I'm kinda creeped out knowing that they can set a beacon on any page. You click on an email link or sign into PSN, they have your IP address, and then all they have to do is put a beacon on a page to record the IP address and then that links back to SCEA/SNEA with your user information and your web traffic.

I dunno, creeps me out - reminds me of when GeoHot got in his mess of trouble.

yeah i with you guy's. if there's a fee involved im either going to nintendo or xbox instead. and as for the TOS being embedded into pages that has been around on lots of other pages for a while. it's mostly used for pop up's or spyware and is easily fix with an IP Scrambler and a AD Blocker.

not sure if most IP scramblers actually work or not but the good one's you pay for do work (by pay for i mean one that come's with a program like Opera web browser or FireFox)

also spoofers can trick them into thinking that you're not running CFW (Can be spoofed in the version.txt or in the harder to find system.txt)
