Booting Problems
« on: April 19, 2011, 11:45:12 AM »
hey all! i recently tried to format my psp back to 1.50ofw and experienced a problem when trying to boot after.

when i turn my psp on it loads to the coldboot and then tries to load the XMB menu but stays blank and has a loading symbol in the corner continuously. I tried reformatting back to 5.00m33 but to no avail... i keep experiencing the same problem. i even tried to physically format each flash with pandora and still the same thing.

i can get to recovery menu and i can run recovery flasher but ive tried several firmwares both custom and official and i get the same thing.

can someone help me?

BTW my psp's motherboard is TA-079v1

thanks in advance!

I have had this problem before
I know this sounds crazy but next time open you UMD door and then boot.
