you gave me the best info i ever got. i did leave the battery out for 1 day but no luck. should i do more?and well the PSP does work but would the USB also not work if the Fuse is blown?

Hook up a flashlight bulb to two wires. Connect the two wires to the two OUTSIDE contacts of your battery, don't mess with the one in the middle.The bulb will light up and then fade.Fire up your psp and test it out, you should be good.
Ahh, gotcha. Sorry, despite reading your initial post I was under the impression your battery was at fault (in which case the fix I listed would work).At this point I would seriously consider pulling out the multimeter and looking for continuity in your power circuit. This will help you isolate where your problem lies.
