hey guys m new here long time guest finally a member :victory: hope i can keep up with the big boys  :tup:

i was wondering is there any way using a usb pic programmer can i clone a chip?
my buddy gave me a kit not sure where he got it from he said the internet but he doesnt remember which site but i got another ps3 controller which i also wanna do RF like i said anyway i can clone so i can just like save the hex to program the new chip i got?

nope! you can not clone chips. mainly because most chips have a copyprotection fuse that is blown when programing. to prevent what your trying to do. lol. if you want, use hypers 999 code here in acidmods. its great!

Its possible, if you have a programmer and the chip dosnt have read protection on. some do, some dont...

hazer's only has 3 modes from what i understand mine has 10 modes with different fire rates unless i can use hazers code and edit maybe 3 modes would be better than 10
i can edit and program my own fire rate right?

Yup. non-protected chips let you read the hex programmed in the chip. Thats cool because its like a mini-USB drive but you need a pic programmer.
