if its just for the ps button just a 47ohm and 2mm led will do if its full case ledding im not sure yet
im just going to state here neo should me if u sand the back of the ps button it be comes clear
with the stupid work you do on making the led smaller you could just put a smd or 2mm led in.the think is not everyone wants to sand stuff all the time.plus why brighter i did mine and theirs nothing wrong with how bright it is
Honestly why in the hell are you criticizing?? Because I had good ideas? what you are saying doesn't even make sense.the "think" is is takes no more than 20 seconds to rub your ps button on 320 grit sandpaper, and get all of the coating off. this way the light diffuses much better. this is especially good on a black button, because we all know if you have a black object light will not shine through it. With the clear button, and added white film or paper behind it, it looks much better than the standard. I never said ANYONE was obligated to do it.. and i never said anyone wants to sand all the time. no one wants to solder all the time. no one wants to paint all the time... come on now.PLUS with the stupid work, you can't get smd leds that fade through different colors. Maybe you have a 5mm led that does that, but you can't get it to fit in an electronic device. Dremel it down, and bam, it fits... Don't understand what in the hell is so stupid to understand about that.Toad: didn't really understand what you typed LOL, but yeah if you sand the back, it becomes completely transparentTomas:I use 3mm all the time, they fit perfect, but sometimes you have to hack away a little plastic in the controller. The amount of leds you want depends on the brightness you want, type of leds, etc... it all depends. If they are the right voltage, 1 can be enough, however at least two will make the light spread look more uniform.
i don't care what you think mate he can take anyone's advice don't bother me but good that your a smart ass at being a .
have you learned the english language yet??and a person with common sense takes the advice that makes most sense.
no one wants to solder all the time.
i do...
(ps. neo and whitetop please stay ontopic adn stop hating, there are only few people that are doing this stuff and we shouldnt start hating eachtother, just come with usefulle tips or tell me if u like it or not and leave it with that. cuz this hating stuff doesnt solve anything.)
hey im on topic and did my mod job just some cry baby will not give up it takes 5-10min to sand the 5mm led to a good size to fit in the ps button and takes less than 2min to replace with a 3mm now can you tell me which is the easiest if neo cannot get his head out his own ass and relies this now if it was me doing the post crap why has he not reported me ???( plus thx for the bad ones neo not like i care as its been said before post Post quality does not mean anything so caryy on makes it look better anyway )on topic as none have been done on the ps3 controller try on that thread i gave you on my first reply on the button leds or you could a wire ring and put 4 smd's on it and put it around the buttons to light them up saving drilling the buttons.
so i redid all the wiring and its alot better now, it didnt solve the problem of pointing up all the time but after blowing into the sensor thingy and removing all the extra solder that was on it it was fixed. but now i have a different problem, it wont turn back on .... but ye, i will take it apart again tomorrow i think and see what i can do.i also want to put rapid fire in all of my controllers but anyone has a suggestion of what chip i need to use wich is easy to install and not too difficult to use?and if my voltage drops to 2.4 after 5 leds is it smart to put another 3/5 in it????
