As of June 6th, Apple has announced that they will be opening a set of new cloud based storage services that will work seamlessly with all your iPad, iPhone, iPod touch, Mac, or PC to automatically and wirelessly store your music, photo's, movies, etc, and push it to all your devices.
iCloud services will include new versions of Contact, Calendar, and Mail as well as iCloud Backup and Storage, Photo Stream and iTunes..
Also for $24.99 a year, iTunes Match will give you all of the benefits of iTunes in the Cloud for music you haven’t purchased from iTunes. iCloud will be available this fall, along with iOS 5.
All services on the iCloud exept for the iTunes Match are free to use.
Note: A free beta-testing version of iTunes in the iCloud is available for residents in the U.S. which requires iTunes 10.3 for the PC/Mac or iOS 4.3.3 on the iPhone.
