5 xbox 360s with problems

i have 5 xboxes because someone was throwing them all away and i was thinking if i can fix them. 3 of them  had rrod errors e74 0020 and i think 0102 . i fixed them it and 1 powers on but it was in spanish and since im puerto rican it was easy to just change to english but when iput a game in the dvd drive it says dvd and not game. i know that it could mean that the drives key and the mobo key arent the same but any fixes for that? and the last one came with a brand new live 07 and when you turn it on it says cannot find update disk anyone know how to fix these??

the one with the dvd drive. it could be the dvd mobo, laser, key. i have had them do that and replace the laser and it work. idk. what kind of drive is it

Probably a lite-on drive they are awful! sometimes helps if you lay them on the side not upright
Yeah try changing the laser but get a good one as I have bought one that's awful! also dust is a problem

First thing I would try is what I told you to try before use a lens clearner cd, and then also take the top off the drive and start up the xbox to see what is going on will give you  more info about what is going on with the drive before going any further or spending alot more money then needed

as for them playing a dvd could be just a dirty lens or the laser read for a few and didnt finish reading and say play dvd , possilbly wrong dvd key.

Ever get  any of your other xboxes fixed that you posted threads on?

nah i made them all turn on but the dvd drivs is the problem for them all exept the onw that says cannot find update disk

Then I would try to update with a Usb stick and see if that helps maybe someone stoped it between update, or put a update on a disk and try to get it to go from there.

If you have the tools required to flash an xbox, dump the firmware off of the dvd drives and see what happens.
