Liquid cooled xbox 360 tutorial "WIP"
« on: May 06, 2011, 10:42:39 PM »
Alright guys, ive been getting request from people on how to do a liquid cooling setup for an xbox 360. This is still a work in progress cause i dont have all my parts in yet and i only put a couple hours into it a day. The parts i got for this were fairly cheap compared to some setups that people have and compared to the last watercooled xbox i did. My main focus on this one is to have a little more internalization and less bulky than the deathbox. The reason for mounting the reservoir on the outside is to make it user friendly. You will have to periodically fill the reservoir and it would be a pain to have to take it apart every time to fill it if it was internal.  I have pretty much finished up my case besides the plexi glass, so this tutorial is mainly gonna be on wiring and plumbing since thats really the main focus.  You can design your case the way you want. I like to use suede cause its cheap as hell and i dont have to do a bunch of sanding and painting and it looks amazing.

Parts are from www.performance-pcs.com and www.jab-tech.com

**performance pc parts**
-Pump/reservoir combo XSPC-X20P450  -$49.95
-Radiator 2x40mm LC-RADI40X2   -$19.95 (on sale)
-Masterkleer tubing 3/8ID 1/2OD 10ft -$9.95
-2x40mm blue led fans -$5.95 (per)
-UV blue non conductive coolant -$15.95
-4" blue cold cathodes (twin overboost) $15.95
-Reusable UV clamps $.89 (per)
-Fittings (depends on your setup) they are pretty expensive
-fan grills $.79 (per)

**www.jabtech.com parts**

-xspc waterblock $36.95

Heres pics of my case so far, once i get the rest of my parts in i will begin the wiring part of the tutorial
