Help!
« on: August 31, 2011, 07:27:16 AM »
Hello!

Today I wanted to do the sound sensitive LED mod. I started doing a cable managment first (I was going to solder them later). But I turned my psp on to check something and I realised that my speakers are not working, and they were working before the cable managment. :censored: I still hear noise (not sound) from them :help: Any help will me appriciated!

check the speaker plugs. Also see if there are any shorts by the stripped ends of the wires.
Or you may have blown the speaker fuse,If thats the case you should bridge it.
I don't know the exact location of the fuse but you should find it on google

You blew the sound fuse by allowing one of the stripped ends of the wires to touch the motherboard

you do have a psp 2000 right?

If so i can provide you with pics of where the sound fuse is and how to bridge it.

here is the locations of the sound fuse and the backlight fuse. The one marked LB is the sound fuse and the one marked FB is the screen fuse. so all you need to do is bridge the connection on the LB fuse and you should have sound again.
