Rapid fire chips
« on: February 23, 2011, 05:52:24 AM »
Hi, I'm new to this forum and modding. I'm starting up a xbox 360 controller mod service and i was wondering if the hex codes here are free to use and sell on the market? If not is there any one that can provide me with chips i can use.

I know this is kinda old haha. but i do also need to know the shots per second for the games, and at what rate they work best at.

Why don't you play the games and find out? or would that be too much hard work?

I mean program some chips with different speeds, play some games, and experiment to find what works best.

Well for MW2 i put 30 and it did not go that fast i think it might be too much, and i just wanted to be for sure about the SPS before i install the chips so i dont waste them.

Aggressive Mods: the cod games have been patched for 25-30 sps so try under 25sps but if you have a ps3 there is no patch as i know of as i see them everywhere

hyper is on about get the code and change the speeds to how it works best for you

The chips can be reprogrammed over and over again so there is no waste, and yes 30sps is way to fast for any game start at about 10sps and experiment

Ok its just that i am a amature and i just started and i thought when i solder the wires to it it will be hard to get off and put it back into the programmer.

if you use an "8 Pin DIP" IC socket you don't need to solder to the PIC at all and you can easily remove/replace it.

Will this work: http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2062604 ? And if so, do you solder it the same way to the controller mobo as a PIC12f683? Thank you.

Yes thats exactly what you need for a the PIC12F683 chip

EDIT: Yes wire it to what ever RF your using to the controller mobo, and just plug the PIC12f638 chip in to it I have done that  many times, and that way if you have something go wrong, then you can just unplug the chip and put it in another controller with out wasting the chip
