PS3 Controller electronic details
« on: November 25, 2012, 08:20:35 AM »
Hey everyone,

Can you direct me to some technical details of the PS3 controllers? I'm specifically interested in the pressure sensitive buttons, and how to interface with them.

I want to build a rapid fire mod with an Arduino-based microcontroller.

I'm an Electrical Engineering student, so don't spare me the details!

Cheers,
DCN

P.S. - Do you think aftermarket (AKA dealextreme.com) controllers would be similar? I'd rather not hack up a legit SONY controller if I can avoid it.

RDC has more detail about the controllers hardware on x-scene forums. 3rd party controllers are nothing like this, you will have to crack open a Sony controller.

Don't be jealous your not half as smart. I hate ****tards like you. An ignorant redneck. Your nothing but a posing ******. Get the **** out of here, really, your claim to fame is an open source rapid fire code? You make me laugh. You think you have control over the modding market?  You couldn't create what I can and do. You are too ignorant with your outrageous assumptions and accusations. [/Quote]
