Lite-On Laser question

I have a DG-16d2S drive and need a replacement laser. Are some BenQ's lasers compatible with this drive as well. I've noticed some BenQ's when searching for a replacement but they dont list the Lite-on with it. Sorry if this is answered somewhere else but i couldnt find any info.

Is this the new slim dvd drive? I dont think they are the same some of the older ones use to be but not sure on the new slim dvd drives

Not a slim..in the old phat model. I was searching DG-16D2S laser and it was also showing BenQ 141 in the searches..specifically amazon.com

I will search around today and see what I can come up with.. maybe some more information on the drive and see if there compatible.

Ok this is what i found and pretty good price also read the information on the page seems that they are the same as the benq but read it and I have bought from this place before , usually ships 2 days in the US. and good price and good quality parts.

Thank you for checking into that for me. Got a new one ordered so hopefully will have it going when it arrives. Just need to dig out my solder iron for the antistatic ball. Again, thanks for helping me out.
