wtf? none of this is new the post linked to is a year old. Who still has a 9199 dash???

I am sure the hdd hack is posted here somewhere, and the avatar info is not completely correct. If you are going to run the 9199 dash ok, this will work. If you are running a new dash (like the new kinect interface) you must remove the resistor or bridge the Efuse points. at which point you must install the official security update, which can be found on microsoft's website. Without this, the kinect wont work.

You could get lucky and buy a used phat xbox from gamestop with the 9199 dash (happened to me recently and updated them)

what good would that do? the 9199 dash is not exploitable. that dash was when MW2 was being modded to hell. thats why it was popular but if you dont have a jtag updated to 9199 its useless.

now if you bought one 73xx and lower then you found gold.


I was refering to the fact that if you have a jtag, you have most likely updated to the newest dash.
