so the prizes are currently limited to what the admin team can cover, and any donations we receive. (which are slim to none)


This would take the burned off admin, and could allow for bigger and better prizes.

donations are non matt - at least they have been for a long time. the shop just about covers the cost of the site at the moment.

edited the poll, you should be able to edit your vote now.

I voted for $5, I think people should have to chip in something for the privilege of entering to win the great prizes. Plus if you have payed an entry fee you are far more likely to put some decent effort into your mod, to get your solder and paint covered hands on some prizes.

I voted no just because I think a lot of the people that enter do it more for the fun of competition, however $5 would be a pretty decent price if there was an entry fee. $10 is just kinda being greedy (even though it goes back to the winners) and $1 is just about pointless.

It doesn't really matter too me, it could be any amount, atleast you will get something back from your work even if it isn't much. Just putting my 2 cents out there  :hifive:

i voted 10. the reason is because. hopefully this will be a big mod off. there is only what 1 a year that is big? maybe 2. the community mod off wasnt really a prize. it was fun. since this is going to be a big one. and someone put out alot of money for it. i think there should be a good prize for the winner.. right? or am i just blabbing
