backlight from psp 1003 broken off

Hi guys  i am here to ask if there is any possibility to connect lcd psp without flip connector.It works if i put directly on mobo with some ribbon?

i would try some electronic tape and make sure its full stuck down onto the ribbon and that the ribbon will not come on the contacts when putting the screen back.

just solder the contacts together or try ebay to see if you can find a clip

but i don't have any experience in soldering... with ribbon it should work fine right? what side should i put directly to the board?

the brown side is the back of the connections its the gold looking ones is the contacts this is want needs to be touching the contacts on the mobo if you dont do soldering a bit of glue will do but make sure the contacts are together and not a gap is there so the glue will not go in between the contacts.

ok just a sec. i will do the contact with gold side to mobo..

If i'm right it should bee like this right? http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/209/dsc03497w.jpg/ with some glue and i think with some pressure it works fine right?

yes like that just make sure to glue the ribbon while putting presser on it till the glue drys ive done this loads of time if i cannot find the part i need.
