ta-081 Backlight problem - Tried all fuses
« on: January 25, 2012, 03:07:05 PM »
Hi all, New here.. Been searching for a few hours on my problem, I can see the image in the background but not backlight

So far I have tried
A new LCD
Making a bridge on all 3 fuses that everyone mentions through out forums
Tried cleaning the connections and looking for shorts

Is there any other fuses to try?

Many thanks

You probably aren't properly bridging the backlight fuse.. Picture of the bridged fuse?

you need to check that the screen connector hasnt come loose. that is one of the most common problems that i have seen with the psp.

if it turns out that is is connected properly try GENTLY applying some pressure to the corner of the screen where the connecter would be. and if it comes on i have a quick and easy fix for this.

Thanks for the replies. Still no joy, tried pushing down pretty much everywhere and still same thing. I searched a bit more and tried bridging the 120 fuse but still nothing.

Dead board or fixable?
