Get your suspect console and lift the top grille from the console. There are various ways of doing this without damaging anything.
Looking through chassis, use a torch and shine it through the middle of the mesh that's there. Use the pic below as a guide.
Look at the LAYOUT of the pic below. If you see the HANA - you're in luck and you can carry on to RGH it.
If you can't see the HANA, either you're not shining a torch in enough to the side or it's not there. The second check is the position of the southbridge. If you have this pic at hand, the Corona's southbridge is much more to the LEFT.
I know you don't always have the opportunity of doing this, but at least if you have 30 secs to pop off the grille and take a look, it could save you from having to strip it down.
