all you have to do is follow the traces back to thier point of origin on the board and solder a wire from the point of origin to the side of the led that it needs to go to.
well if you follow the traces it will make sense.All of the leds use the same trace for the negative side of the led. so if the trace breaks further up the line then all of the leds attached to that will not work either.
Any tips when getting a wire to get a good link with the little holes, I really struggle with this.
I found it best to use some flux and make sure you got a sharp point on your soldering gun and keep adding solder to the spot your trying to get it to stick to.Also scrap the coating with xacto blade or fiberglass pen to the copper is showing.
WOW you have severely over worked yourself, there was no need to jump every side of each led (unless you tore them all) you only needed 4 pieces of wire.But regardless, you got it working.
