3mm leds psp led mod? 14 years old and dont know much about modding

sup guys i was just wondering im just 14 years old and dont know that much about modding and stuff im just an amateur and was wondering  can u use 3mm leds to do any kind of psp led mod?

i don't think you can due to not much room this is why people use the 0603 leds

cause i was seeing some mod on youtube and i saw i guys psp with 3mm led installed

You can use 3mm leds in psp's. Look for low V ones if you plan on sound reactive at all. But they can be installed in the triggers and , to back light jewels. (if umd removed) They will not fit in buttons or any place else really, but triggers are a go.

You're exactly like me
I started modding when I was 14 too and also used red 3mm leds in my PSP without knowing much
I installed them in the triggers and they were hooked to the speakers to make them sound reactive

So you can install red 3mm leds but you'll have to drill deeper and also cut out the black plastic under the triggers to allow free movement
