Programming tool

I have the programmer but now I need the tools on my computer to program the chip. What program is best to load the chip with the hex code?

Depending on what programmer you have, u might use different programs. Winpic800 is a good program.

or if you have a pickit 2 clone you can use this.

your programmer should come with the software on a cd (or atleast mine did). but it should defiantly say which software to use.

Came with no CD's but I downloaded the pickit 2 software. And I have no idea if it's a clone or not.
