cant get winpic800 to work properly

i have a PIC USB Automatic Programming Develop Microcontroller Programmer K150 ICSP Cable which connects via usb, the problem i am having is i cannot detect my programmer at all, i have been told it should show as comm port 3 but its not there, i installed libusb but i still cant detect my programmer. can anyone help please? i have been trying to get this working for 16hours now and still nothing

I dont believe the k150 works with winpic.

Try changing the settings in winpic800 or mplab also check for it under device manager. has to detect it some how. just not set up properly.

go into settings and select JDM
