attachments and other options  you get the option when you post a new reply or modify your post
must be in a rar format

if mod will allow i will attach my attempt of the modified hex code to work with a 12f683
simple 4 wire install
this might might not work due to not having a psx to test on but in theory it will work
mods can i post the hex code?

Thanks and i currently have the original 4 wire hex for 12f683. i currently want 2 other stealth hex coded for this 12f683 pic. i have a bunch of these pic just lying around. And if the mods would let me post the hex, they are from the eurasia site. The mm3 and the Mayumi stealth 4 are the ones i want.

i currently have two psx. one is modded with the 12f683 4 wire install. and one is unmodded. looking for the slim psOne to mod as well.

here are the two hex files

Edit #1 3DO, i manage to find a few of my pic 12c509. If you still have time and want to finish porting to 12f683 i wont mind at all. If not that's cool. Now i just need my laser to come in so i can get this psx going again. Thanks!!

Edit #2 My jdm programmer is crap! it served me well for over 7 years straight but its time is up. Well, i have 2 playstation and 1 psone. Both playstation works, but after programming about 5 12c509 s/m chips with my jdm nothing was working. So i burned the old crow on a 12f683 with my usb programmer and viola 1 playstation works. Then i programmed another 12c509 s/m on my usb programmer and it worked, except my laser died. Threw my psone laser in and works like it was brand new. Now onto the PsOne, this thing kept me busy for over a week, cause of my jdm programmer, but then i had the same 12f683 old crow and still nothing boots up. Well this morning, 7/27/12, with bright sunlight as I've been working at night after work. Low and behold a tiny ball of solder, i mean tiny, was sitting in between two pins on the main board. ARGHHHHH  as soon as i removed it, the psone boots up fine. I freaked out a little during this whole week and ordered a clone pickit2 and some 12c508 and 12c508a. so now i will have plenty of chips lying around. huy!!!

Edit #3 My laser form cheap china came in!! These are the PSone laser that are supposed to be the best laser made. And i got them with the extension cable , so it'll work with the older fat grey playstation. It took two weeks, a little longer than i expected as i usually get stuff, in from china, in about a weeks time. But the post office had it for like 4 days!!! Anyway, with all that I've been reading about cheap laser from china, you have to POT TWEAK it! One came in at 513 ohms. Way too high for the laser. People have burn out there laser on first boot at those settings. I adjusted mine to around 740-720 ohms, and it boots my taiyo yuden 4x burns like they were originals, but i can hear the laser stress a little bit over fmv's. Nonetheless a simple pot tweak will get it running quiet. I'm thinking around the 705-690 range. Extremely excited as now i have 3 psx to mess with!
