Internal Battery Voltage

OK so I'm working on a controller. I got the idea from phantom over at xboxscene. Its almost complete but here's my issue:
Ive got a couppe batteries internalized but they put out 3.7v and the controller needs about 3.3 right? Should I use a ohm resistor? Or is there a better way?  Thanks:)
