Xbox 360 CG Controller (help)

ok guys so im in the need of some help with my CG controller led mod i am looking to install about 6-8 led lights to my controller not sure if possible but if not ill put less led but wat i am looking for is so that when i turn on my controller my lights turn on then controller off lights off..... but i may put some led to rumble with the rumble motors think u guys can help me??

You should be able to do that, there is a 3v point (I think) which is only active when the controller is switched on but I can't remember, will hit Rodent up on AIM see if he knows.

I had 8, 3mm blue LEDs on one board before but i also used a transistor. I believe i was using a CG2 board though.

will it only put out 3v even when plugged in? also where would + go, any +?

I think that would be the + . Put the ground- on any.

This is Correct .. and also are you planing on hooking all the leds up to one spot or have like lighted buttons?   spurgurgle has this  fully lighted tutorial that works awesome
