« on: August 23, 2011, 10:48:12 PM »
Will this work: http://www.piccircuit.com/shop/pic-programmer/25-icp01-usb-pic-programmer.html ? And if it does, how do I use it with the PIC12f683 ? Thanks.

Its a Pickit 2 clone. It will work just fine. But you will want to get the ICP03 ziff zocket to go with it. Or the ICA03 is both the progra and the socket bundled.

You can use it directly with MPLAB (if you are coding) or a standalone program for just programming the hex files.

If it's a PICKit2 clone then it should. That's what I have used.
