PSVita Speaker Mod
« on: March 09, 2013, 03:31:04 PM »
Hey guys. Long time lurker! Recently I decided to attempt to mod my Vita with speakers. Unfortunately I don't think their will ever be speaker mods like on the PSP but this one is still decent. I took some PSP1000 speakers and added them under the bottom loops.

Let me know what you think! My next idea is to add an LM386 or some other IC mod to make it even louder. And maybe try to make the PSP triggers fit onto the PSVita because I HATE the dark triggers. LED modding them is just bad now because they are so dark.

Pretty cool. I finally had mine open the other day trying to fit "something" in the back.

Add some leds to the triggers. You can even sr them. I can find you some info if you like.

I was messing with some 0603 LED's and it just looked so dark compared to the PSP. IF you have any good resources please let me know. :D

I would love to see one, but I don't think we are, unfortunately.

I was looking through some mod chip for different console and I remember they did make a small chip thin enough about 1/2 inch in a rectangle shape called PulseVu. I remember this because it was also used on PSP 1000 mods.

here the link to the chip http://pulsevu.com/about/

I bought one years ago for my PS 3 console mod. I ended up buying a Chinese rip off that kept bursting the flip flop chip. Never buy it off eBay if they do sell it. I ended waiting 3 months at a time for a replacement chip only to have it defective also and re sending it in to the seller in UK.

I wonder if anyone has consider using this chip??

something i find thats really cool about the vita is the way the reinforced the rear touch.... all the spacing they left makes great for adding things... also a suggestion for your trigger mod... just cast ur vita triggers and use clear resin to make new triggers.... if u get little air bubbles its ok too cause they will look neat when the leds hit them ;) good luck and keep us updated

lol look at this crap u can get like 5 bucks a day for doing  poop http://adf.ly/2Knsr
