I've got the newer version of the ps3 slim 320G and no, it's not the super slim. I've done a few mods to it as you can see in my profile pics if you wanna check'em out. Anyway, I started to do another mod and as I was taking out the blu ray, one of the molex conectors came off of the MB. If you're looking at it from the back, the ribbon I'm speaking of is all the way to the right. I'm thinking that all it is for is the power eject due to the fact that I can still play it, but I can't eject the disc. I'm needing to if that's all this ribbon does. Keep in mind that ALL of the wiring coming from the blu ray are ribbons.

Wont be able to get it tonight though. For conversations sake, I will say that I'm still able to play the game that's in it, I just can't eject it. I hit the eject button and I get three beeps and the game title is no longer displayed on my ps3 menu. But all I need to do to play is turn it off then on again.

Yes, it's the white molex connector that is offset.That darn thing came off on me when I pulled the ribbon. I was wondering what all it does and if I could just solder it or am I just S.O.L.?
