A pretty interesting looking new device has appeared on the market for backing up NFC based products called the MAXLander – it seems to be the world's first complete NFC Backup System. Their site claims…

MAXLander is a unique tool for users who wish to backup their NFC game data to avoid missing or broken data.

Team Xecuter  found a couple of videos of it working with SkyLanders toys – those China guys are crazy to get this working. Activision will be pissed – remember Brandon Wilson a few years ago? Will be interesting to see how this one pans out.

great, i really need this item,
but i can only find one seller for the maxlander:

can't compare price 

it seems the Maxlander can backup Skylanders characters' data, and can share with others.
means you can download and run skylanders characters' data,
then rewrite to the token,
means you play the new characters for free by maxlander now
