Mode Display for Rapid Fire Mod
« on: April 17, 2014, 07:25:46 AM »
Hey guys,

Here with a new project i am working on. I am attempting to write a code for a pic16f688 to read the led input flashes from RF mods. This will then translate the led flashes to a number to be displayed be a 7 segment display led. I have already done a circuit board design and ordered some for testing. I haven't done the code yet but i will be attempting this soon hopefully.

let me know what you guys think!!

Thanks!!
I'm looking at a couple of different for factors right now. But its looking like I'll be using the cheap headset adapter for the 360 controllers as a base. and I'm looking to keep that plug and play function.
So if anyone can give me their input and help on that matter, I'd appreciate that very much.

Wow!!! Look forward to seeing this completed! Always wanted a company to incorperate a system like this. Is this like a universal setup for 360 controller mod chips? I'd imagine u could lead a wire from the led pin of a mod chip and your chip will configure the flashes into your 7 segment display? If so that's sick thinking. I'd like to buy some of those off u if u get it running!!!

yeah its pretty much universal. it's gonna read and count the pulses from the led output wire and then the chip will display it on the 7 segment display. i thought of this because i would get confused as to what mode im on when i am using your 10 mode rapid fire hex. Although i am expecting to run into some problems as when the battery is plugged in, the led pulses 3 times. so i will need to do some testing. My boss at my job is helping me with the coding on this. Also since this is your rapid fire hex im working with, when its completed, just pay the shipping price and i'll send you one. No biggie.

Thanks. If u want I can also send u my XB1 mod chip I've designed. Its 30 modes operated off two tact switches (15 modes a tact) comes with torx T8 and T6 screwdrivers and 3 ft of 30 awg & 2 6×6×7mm tracts. I can also get u instillation & operation sheet. Can do a strate trade if willing. Let me know if interested. Got a lot of cool new style mods.

ok guys, this will have to be put on hold for now. my boss is really busy with his personal life and traveling for potential clients. But when he gets the chance, we will sit down and code code code.
