Need help with some wiring - Xbox slim

Hey guys, I am building a custom box for my slim 360 that will essentially have a ps3 in it aswell with a LCD screen and speakers, Anyways, I really wish to make an eject button for the console and a power button, and also move the ring of light and build it into the case, could someone please point me in the right direction for extending the ROL and wiring up an eject button and power button?

Ben Heck did something similar with a wii ps3 and 360 in one. Here is a link to the part 2 of his series shows how he used ribbon cable to extend the ROL etc. Hope it helps. Youll have to jump a head to the 360 part. Link below.
