xbox 360 controller redesign help

Hi all.Im new to the forum but not new to modding (although i mainly do consoles not controllers)
I was looking for some help and advice on
A.How to relocate the analogue stick and hold it in place
B.How to fit a 3ds slider as a dpad
C.How to wire it all up
:)
Hope you can help and thanks in advance

Cut it out, use some bonding putty to reposition it, and hot glue the analogue stick's base to the pcb after bending the legs outwards so it sits flat.

3ds slider?  Well, you can look up a pinout/trace schematic of the controller's pcb and solder wires to the D-pad's traces to add your own buttons to do the same functions.

With a soldering iron, solder, and some insulated wire (flux might make it easier also)

For anyone else that may come across this 6 more months from now..

The 3DS Slider is Analog and can not be wired directly to the D-pad connections. You'd need a PIC/AVR coded up to deal with that, and possibly more depending on the controller version being used.

Screwing up is one of the best learning tools, so long as the only thing you're not learning is how to screw up.
