Measure the Resistance of the R3 button line there to ground.

I'm so new to these kind of stuff
Can you show me how to do it on the pic please? Just tell me where to put the probs

The soldering pad for the red one is completely ripped off, is it ok to connect the prob to the pin itself?

Not sure if i did it correctly, but i got 0.05 (the range set on 20k Ω)

Yeah that's not right, that would mean the R3 line is grounded and in that case it would never work. The proper way to test it would be to remove the stick and check the R3 line again, but, and no offense intended, I'd be concerned about more damage happening to it during that process.

Yeah you're right. isn't any other option to workaround the problem? i'm mean without removing the stick

When i touch the red dot with my finger R3 act like this:

Thing still looks to me like the PD Resistor isn't in circuit and that R3 line is floating. You can try putting a 100k Resistor from the R3 line to Ground and see if that fixes it.

You mean that little Resistor you mentioned earlier? I guess you're probably right cause when i touch the board around that area (red dot) with my finger everything works flawlessly
Still don't know how to fix it though

Put a 100k Resistor between the 2 dots.

Ok i'll try to do that (need to buy that Resistor first) and will keep you updated.

Thank you so much for taking the trouble to help me. I really appreciate it

UPDATE
I soldered this Resistor (still not soldered in the pic) to those two dots you mentioned, but it didn't solve the problem, and now i don't know why but my L1 button doesn't work anymore even with the Resistor detached!

I think at this point it's better to give up on this controller

Clean the contacts where the motherboard and Flexible Printed Circuit board (FPC) meet, just use a Q-tip and rubbing alcohol. Also make sure the foam piece is under the contacts of the FPC as it provides pressure on those contacts. Also the controller has to be together for those contacts to make a good connection or the buttons on that FPC will sometimes not work or do weird things.

Make sure where the Resistor is installed it's not interfering with the controller going back together or it's not going to make that connection right either.

@ Ivan - Yes.

@ Zhen - Both are Caps, 100nF and 33pF, neither are really necessary. No idea what that would do with the 5v.

I have a problem in my jdm-001 motherboard, from arrow number 1 I need a 100 ohm resistor and it makes it impossible for me to solder to the track because it is very small and not
stick my tin, I had thought of a bridge to arrow number 2 with a small fine wire, it is possible that this track leads to that path or I am wrong, I need help @RDC

Those spots are not connected at all. You have to remove the green solder mask and expose the copper trace for the solder to stick to it.

Correct me if I?m wrong, but I only see the D-pad R, L, U, D vias labeled for JDM-001. Does anyone have the locations labeled for the four D-pad buttons on all the other DS4 PCBs?

I stopped hunting for all of the vias ages ago as it was killing to many controllers. I made up the SFX to have much easier and larger places to solder to for all of those buttons, so no more vias had to be harmed during the making of controllers. https://acidmods.com/forum/index.php/topic,44001.msg337947.html#msg337947

The -050 D-pad spots have been added, the -055 is the same. The -040, from a quick look, doesn't seem to have one for the DD, so feel free to strip that one down and find out for sure or not.
