adding buttons on the back of controllers
« on: October 01, 2021, 07:41:22 AM »
Wondering if anyone has tried to use mouse click switches for modding controllers omron switches for example. does anyone have any info on how to wire those into a controller or if its even possible? my thinking being the life of the switches is much longer than the tac switches and if they could be somehow used to replace the triggers that would be the best feeling trigger stop. I can do these mods if someone shows me where to solder to lol i just dont know much about the electronics side of things.

For the switches or buttons I've used Xbox Lb/Rb buttons in the past. they have a nice feel and travel to them, and even make a nice sound.
For the solder points... Well you gotta lurk around and first check how the controllers work. Tell me your model and your intended button and I'll try and help.
