PS4 1216A SAC 001 Missing capacitors in HDMI area
« on: December 04, 2020, 05:38:02 AM »
Missing 3 capacitors in the HDMI IC area. PS4 model 1216a SAC-001

Anybody know the values?

I have a first series PS4 from where I can hypothetically get the replacement capacitors.

Thanks

They are just for decoupling, so their exact values aren't really critical. Something like 16v and anything from 1uF to 10uF would work fine there.

Thanks for the reply. I'm trying to find the 1uf / 10uf caps from the other CUH 1100 SAB 001 board, but until now I've only found some 100nf caps from the HDMI IC area. I continue to search or the 100nf caps will still be ok?

1nF to 10uF, anything will be fine in there really as they are just decoupling, that is filtering on some DC voltage rail.
