PS4 Daughterboard components JDS-030

I keep buying replacements only to have them show up bare of components. Does anybody know the values of the the resistor, cap, filter and voltage reg on them? Thank you..

Those look like some knockoff stuff and should technically work as they are. The official boards have a Fuse, Common Mode Choke, TVS array and decoupling Cap on them, plus the USB, LED and connector. Looks like they traced straight thru where the Fuse would go, so no point in installing that. Same goes for the Common Mode Choke as it looks to be traced thru as well or the D+/D- lines solder jumperd closed. The TVS and decoupling cap aren't required for it to work at all.
Screwing up is one of the best learning tools, so long as the only thing you're not learning is how to screw up.

all that stuff not required since they actually doesnt work.  only can help a bit if u use crappy cable with damaged insulation wire twist.

Interesting....
Every time I plug it in to my PS4 it says too many devices connected, or overload my pc usb slots. Could it be the power management IC?

Upon further inspection it?s corrosion under one of the bga chips.



My main question was about the daughter boards because I?ve not seen that before. Thanks for the info.
