1708 right thumb stick works issue

!708 controller right tumbstick only in x axis no y axis movement at all. All the points are connected. Is there anything else I can do fix this issue.

Did you solder a new one in and it failed? Or did it just fail with use? Pictures of the repair would help if you soldered one in.
