JDM-040 missing components. Please, help

<< < (2/2)

RDC:
Microscope can't see under that BGA chip.

Some other issues for no USB detection are the USB/LED board, flex cable contacts, the TVS array shorting or some issue with the Common Mode Choke on the USB data lines.

Tirath:
Hi, can someone please identify these components for me. I accidentally swipe those with my soldering iron and now controller no charging. Model is jdm 040.

RDC:
Both of those are just Capacitors. Them missing is in no way making the controller do that. It will work perfectly fine with them gone.

Check and make sure that the solder pads there are not shorted to each other causing a bridge where the Cap used to be. Also go over the board a few times, as knocking just those off of there would be incredibly lucky.

Tirath:
Thanks for the reply. Now I am sure that the problem is somewhere else. Solder pads are not shorted and controller is still working but not charging and usb cable not detected by ps4 as well. I am switching the battery with another controller to charge it. Need to recheck everything more precisely. Schematic scan would be appreciated.
Thanks have a good time.
